Description

It is a Korea Conflict item. Parks AFB was only open from 1951 to 1959. During WWII the property belonged to the US Navy and was a Navy Seebee training camp - was closed at the end of WWII and was taken over by the US Air Force in 1951. Some of the planes pictured on the item did not exist until after WWII and during WWII it was the Army Air Corps - became the US Air Force in Sept. 1947, two years after the end of WWII.
