Vintage Mattel PONYTAIL BARBIE DOLL 1961 #5 Titian Red Hair. Condition is "Used" but MINT.  VERY HARD TO FIND
Beautiful rare late 1961 #5 Titian Ponytail Barbie with hair in original style.  This doll has the first hallow torso with Barbie stamped
on butt cheek however does not have the smell of crayons or the greasy face problem associated with the #5's.
In 1961 when Midge came out they changed the body to say Barbie Midge stamped on the butt.  This is the earlier stamp that has Barbie only.  Also what makes her special is she has the soft hair ponytail while the bangs are the newer coarse double row bangs.

She has been treated for green ear & it is very light but still present.
Eye & lip paint have faded to a frosted white & her nostril holes too.  As far as I know this is a natural occurrence in some
vintage dolls.  All finger & toe polish is present.  Barbie stamped on one butt cheek & a 10 on the other.
She was displayed in a glass doll case in a doll room free from pet hair & smoke.  Sold as is nude.  Please see all pictures
