Vintage 5" Diameter, 16" Circumference Leather Stitched Mush Ball
These were the original softballs used when softball was 1st played in late 1800's and into the early 1900's as an off season game.   Played as an indoor game without gloves.
Also know as cabbage ball and Chicago ball and apparently still popular in Chicago.
The ball is in good shape but has been played with and has some minor scuffs in the soft leather.  Stitching is good.
