She is hand painted and hand airbrushed , like all my dolls.
Sevinyl is an exquisite quality vinyl doll . Made from a sumptuous heavy vinyl , she is unusually constructed for a doll of this 11.5 inch , Barbie genre.
Like the charming 1960’s French doll Mily , made by Gege , Sevinyl is strung on elastic.
This enables you to pose her very nicely.
Her head sculpt is a laser cut copy of the rare French doll Caprice.
Sevinyl has rooted hair .
She is hand painted , by me , Julian Kalinowski. She isn’t ‘printed ‘ in the factory .
This gentle and pretty Sylvain is wearing a divinely soft , synthetic angora cable knit sweater over her swimsuit. The look is very 1960’s Beatnik. Her hair ribbon is the proper nylon ribbon that Mattel used for Standard Barbie ( I found a supply in an old British haberdashery store ) Her shoes are factory made copies of Barbie’s ‘spikes’.
She has a heavy card box .
She’s an unusually high quality doll .
