Description

Large, laser quality, natural, clear quartz single crystal, cut from a larger single crystal. Perfect internal optical quality, ideal raw material
to manufacture polarizing optical components (waveplates, polarizers) for UV - NIR spectral range, and also for terahertz optics. Raw material, bulk, cca. 2.2 kg (5 lbs). There are two lateral small cracks from cutting. The yellow-brown color on some surfaces are due to the residual gluing compound used during cutting, and can be cleaned. For professionals, optical shops, or as collectible item.
