The Taymac ML2500GGFIGFI is an outdoor weatherproof rated wall box that allows for power cables to be plugged and used no matter the weather conditions. Compared to traditional exterior wall bubble boxes, these are slim and sleek offering an attractive high-end look for the outside of any home or commercial building. The box is gray in color, and includes two matching gray 20 Amp GFCI tamper resistant (TR) and weather resistant (WR) outlets. This combination provides the most visually appealing outdoor wall box on the market.
Meets 2014 and 2017 NEC Electrical Code Extra Duty Requirements
The wall box meets 2014 and 2017 NEC Code 406.9 for receptacles being used in damp or wet locations. The cover meets the Extra-Duty requirements of a weatherproof enclosure even when the plug is inserted.  Extra duty also means that it can withstand several durability requirements including cycle testing the hinged door, rain testing, hot and cold testing. The cover also has to meet UL's Extra Duty requirements for impact testing, so you know that it can survive the rigors that any outdoor application can throw at it.
Durable Polycarbonite Cover is Weatherproof Even During Use
The cover resists rot, fading, and cracking in extreme temperatures. The cover protrudes 1" from the wall, but is expandable to 3" to accommodate the cord and plug. The cover still retains it's weatherproof rating even when the cord is plugged in. It is UL listed for USA installations, and cUL listed for Canada installations. The cover is paintable if you want to paint it the same color as the wall it is being installed on.
Matching Gray WR, TR GFCI Decora Outlets
The included gray outlets are a perfect match for the gray colored box, the outlets are 20 Amp GFCI rated with Tamper Resistant (TR) plugs. The outlet meets NEC code installed in the box because it has the required weather resistant (WR) listing. Also included is the gasket and mounting hardware for easy installation.
