Ondax Optigrate Chirped Volume Bragg Gratings (CVBG). The item was carefully removed from working femtosecond OneFive laser Origami.
Chirped Bragg Gratings (CBG) CBG diffractive optical element is a reflecting Bragg grating with a period gradually varying along direction of beam propagation. This feature results in reflection of different wavelengths from different holographically recorded planes inside the grating.
The item is designed for pulse compression/stretching of femtosecond Yb solid state lasers with main lasing line 1030nm.  Applications:
Stretcher and Compressor for Ultra Short Pulse and Chirped Pulse Amplification (CPA) laser systems.
The same element can be used as a stretcher or compressor by changing the direction of the light propagation through the grating.
