Rare Vintage Natural Bridge Of Virginia Commemorative Plate - Made in England by Old English StaffordshireWare. This transferware plate measures approximately 10" inches across, and has an ivory background with blue images. The plate has a decorative border, with a central image featuring the famous Natural Bridge
. The back of this plate carries the manufacturer's mark: "Picturesque Natural Bridge Of Virginia -- Old English StaffordshireWare -- Made in Staffordshire, England
-- Imported Exclusively For Natural Bridge Of Virginia, Inc. Natural Bridge, Virginia".
This plate was part of a large china collection that was stored for many years, and it is in excellent condition - no crazing, chips, cracks, stains, repairs or marks anywhere on this item.
This is an absolutely beautiful plate. Any reflection, distortion or shadow in the photos is the result of camera and lighting issues
