Description
Classical (years 80'), relatively high repetition frequency, pulsed xenon flashlamp to pump 4 mm - 7 mm dia. relatively long Nd:YAG or Er:YAG laser rods, or even Nd: glass or ruby laser rods, type INP-5/90A-1 from Russian Federation. New, never used, label from the original package attached (last picture). Plasma discharge size: 5 mm dia. x 90 mm length, ideally should match the laser rod size. Appropriate for rods with 80 mm - 100 mm in length. Outer diameter of lamp 6.7 mm. Total lamp length (with electrodes) 210 mm. Though the electrodes look similar, they are polarized, and the anode is marked with the (+) sign and the Russian letters indicating the lamp type. The cathode side has the marking letters OTK, meaning "quality control" in Russian. The following nominal parameters are from the original data sheet of the lamp. For low repetition frequency regime, i.e., below 1 Hz, discharge energy 12 J - 110 J, no liquid cooling necessary, estimated lifetime 4 x 105
