    doped) ruby laser rod, 8 mm dia. x 150 mm length, Br-Br ends, uncoated (picture #1), with protective plastic "sleeves" (to be removed before use). It was made in mid 70' by the famous crystal growing company Crytur, of Turnov, Czech Republic. New, never used, high optical quality, perfect condition (pictures #2, #3 showing reflective ends), with original, unopened box (picture #4) and then opened box (picture #5). Flatness lambda/10, Brewster angles less than 5 arcmin from ideal value. The rod axis is cut at 90 degree from the optical axis of the ruby single crystal. The doping level is for a pulsed-pumped, free-running or Q-switched laser. Expect cca. 6-7 J in free running as oscillator with 2000 J pump. The Brewster ends favor also the use as an amplifier. For industrial, medical, educational lasers, or as collectible item.
