Despite its size (there are certainly more than 100 sheets), his bookplate is largely unexplored. Like Sattler and Hildebrandt - his contemporaries - he removes the bookplate from its heraldic beginnings and opens it up for the documentation of the individual characteristics of his clients. - Small remnants of assembly on the back.
