Comments: * Gutenberg 210. - Hand signed. Amadeus-Dier, born in Vienna, trained at the Academy of Fine Arts there and member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus, is one of the traditionalists. His stylistic models are the Baroque and Biedermeier periods. He cannot make friends with modernity, although surreal motifs keep appearing in his bookplates. What is striking about his bookplates is his penchant for fantasy birds, baroque cartouches in the style of Bayros and rich ornamentation that comes from Art Nouveau or Art Nouveau. the Wiener Werkstätten is shaped. - Slightly wavy, otherwise good copy.
