The façade of the Bank of Albania headquarters in the background, the symbols of Skanderbeg’s helmet on the top left and a double-headed eagle below complete the design with the lettering “BANKA E SHQIPËRISË", "PESË MIJË LEKË", "SKËNDERBEU 1405-1468”.
    Reverse: Krujë town’s castle, the monument of Skanderbeg in Tirana, his helmet and the banknote’s serial number. The lettering ”BANKA E SHQIPËRISË", "PESË MIJË LEKË", "SKËNDERBEU 1405-1468” and the bank officials’ signatures are located near the upper and lower edges.
