    Description

    The Albania 10 Leke banknote is part of the family of notes issued in 1976. This particular note is TAP authenticated and in uncirculated condition. Its obverse side features a woman adjusting a cotton spinning machine. The emblem of Albania which consists of a shield with two-headed eagle and a helmet of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg is also shown on the front of the note. On the reverse is the Palace of Culture building which is found in Tirana. On the left are two men and a woman in their modern attire, carrying a briefcase and folders. There are also two women and three men wearing traditional national dresses. Moreover, a statue of a hammer and a sickle, as well as a portrait of the famous writer Naim Frasheri, is visible. This paper banknote which measures 135 x 75 mm has a curved B.SH.SH and star patterns watermarks.
