Comments: * Gutenberg 24.178, 24.183, 24.186, 24.189. - Born in Wolmar in 1888, descendant of one of the many German aristocratic families in the Baltic States, he learned the profession of lithographer. From 1910 he continued his education at the Debschitz School in Munich. In 1913 he began drawing bookplates. According to Braungart, there were 33 sheets by early 1915, but not all of them have been documented. Then the track is lost. Stylistically, he is one of the ornamenters, and his leaves are reminiscent of violinists. His technique is pen drawing in black and white, reproduced as clichés. - Smallest assembly marks on the back.
