Product Description
Box of 1,000 Spax #6 x 1/2-inch flat head, full thread wood screws, made of zinc. This multimaterial screw is designed for indoor wood-to-wood applications. Includes Spax patented thread serrations, 4Cut Point and MULTIhead. The patented 4Cut Point allows the screw to be driven faster, with no pre-drilling (depending on the wood) and no breaking or stripping. This is achieved through its special screw tip. The arrow shape pushes through the fibres of the wood, ensuring a fast grip. This effectively prevents the material from splitting and reduces the insertion moment. For hard woods, the manufacturer recommends pre-drilling even when using SPAX with 4Cut Point. MULTIhead combo drive uses Phillips #2 or Square #1 driver bit. Made in Germany or USA.
